Julian M. Rodriguez joined Belkin Burden as a Summer Associate in May 2014. After completing law school at St. John’s University School of Law, Mr. Rodriguez was promoted to an Associate in the firm’s Litigation Department in January 2016. Mr. Rodriguez was an editor of the St. John’s Law Review while in law school.
Mr. Rodriguez advises property owners in a variety of real estate related matters in Housing Court, Supreme Court, and Surrogate’s Court. His experience includes numerous trials and evidentiary hearings. His recent matters include defending owners in disputes relating to rent stabilization coverage and application of the New York City J-51 tax abatement program, defending owners in tenant claims of harassment and breach of the warranty of habitability, and defending owners in the removal of unlawful apartment occupants.
